DAY 01: KATHMANDU
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu. Meet, assist at the airport then transfer to the Hotel (Check in at 14:00). Later sightseeing of Kathmandu Durbar Square (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Located in the heart of the capital city, is also known as Hanuman Dhoka square. The name Hanuman Dhoka came from the statue of Hanuman at the entrance of the royal palace, established by the Malla King from 15th to 18th century. The Major attraction in Kathmandu Durbar Square are Taleju temple, gigantic figure of Kalbhairav (the god of destruction), Basantapur Durbar Palace, Shiva-Parvati and temple of Kumari on the residence of living goddess. Overnight.
Swoyambhunath, (also known as the Monkey Temple) The world’s most glorious Buddhist Chaityas built 2000 years ago situated on a hillock about 77 m above the level of the Kathmandu valley. Visitors will also have a grand view of the valley from this spot. Swoyambhunath Stupa, which is considered one of the most imposing stupas in the world, rises high. One can reach the stupa by going up about 400 steep stone steps. The four sides of the stupa depict Buddha’s eyes of wisdom, which see through all existences. Overnight.
DAY 02: KATHMANDU
Morning sightseeing of Boudhanath, The 36-meter-high stupa of Boudhanath is one of the largest stupas in South Asia. Here you can see many monasteries surrounding it. On each side are a pair of the all-seeing-eyes of the Buddha symbolizing awareness.
Pashupatinath is the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world. The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga, or phallic symbol, of Lord Shiva. Chronicles indicate the temple’s existence prior to 400 AD. Devotees can be seen taking ritual dips in the holy Bagmati river flowing beside the temple. Cremation of the dead body Hindus/Buddhist takes place at the bank of Bagmati River at Pashupatinath.
Afternoon Bhaktapur Durbar Square, It is also known as Bhadgaon and was founded in 889 AD by King Anand Dev. Today it covers an area of four square miles and is flanked by Khasa Khusung and Hanumante Rivers. The palace complex in the middle of the city portrays the prosperity of the Malla years and the details at which the crafts people then worked. The Palace of Fifty-five Windows stands in the square, which was also home to many kings of Bhaktapur.
DAY 03: KATHMANDU - POKHARA
Morning drive (6 hrs) or fly (25 min) to Pokhara. Afternoon sightseeing of Tibetan Refugee Camp, Gupteshwor Cave, Devi’s Fall, Boat ride on the Phewa Lake & visit Barahi Temple. Overnight.
DAY 04: POKHARA - NAYAPUL - TIKHEDHUNGA (1490 m - 5 hrs)
Morning drive (1.5 hrs) to Nayapul. Then start trekking from Nayapul (trekking entry point) to Tikhedhunga, Passing by Village, Forest & River. Overnight.
DAY 05: TIKHEDHUNGA - GOREPANI (2850 m - 5 Hrs)
Trek to Ghorepani. This village offers best view of Annapurna South & Nilgiri Mountains.
DAY 06: GOREPANI – POON HILL - TADAPANI (2680 m – 5.5 hrs)
Early morning (5 am) we hike steps trail about one & half hour to Poon Hill view point for sunrise & Mountain view. Then back to hotel for breakfast & begin trek to Tadapani. Overnight.
DAY 07: TADAPANI - GHANDRUNG (1950 m - 4 hrs)
Trek to Ghandruk. Visit Ghandruk village. Overnight.
DAY 08: GHANDRUNG - NAYAPUL (5 hrs) - POKHARA (1.5 hrs)
Morning trek down to Nayapul & drive to Pokhara. Afternoon free. Overnight.
DAY 09: POKHARA - KATHMANDU
Morning drive (6 hrs) or fly (25 min) back to Kathmandu. Afternoon free. Overnight.
DAY 10: KATHMANDU
Morning visit Patan Durbar Square & Golden Temple, Patan Durbar Square situated in the center of Patan city, also known as Lalitpur. Patan Square and its surroundings is good specimen of ancient Newari architecture. There are three main courtyards in the palace: Mul Chowk, Sundari Chowk and Keshav Narayan Chowk. Mul Chowk, the oldest one, is at the centre of Patan square. Several multi-sized and multi-styled temples occupy the western part of the complex. Main among these is Krishna Temple, Bhimsen Temple and the Golden Temple of Hiranya Varna. Krishna Mandir, which is devoted to Lord Krishna, is one of the best examples of stone architecture in Nepal.
Afternoon Free. Evening farewell Nepalese dinner with culture dance. Overnight.
DAY 11: KATHMANDU
Departure transfer to the airport
